Special People

These are the hands of a very special lady who is helping to nurse some of the VA Babies that needed rescue (and need homes too)

It is so nice to meet people that restore your faith in humanity. So many time we are overwhelmed with cruelness, ignorance, and selfishness.

She has never done rescue of domestic rabbits before, she does primarily squirrels and cottontails, and I am so delighted every time I see/speak with her to hear the excitement in her voice and how much fun she is having. Bunnies have a way of stealing your heart.

Here is "Smokey" licking his chops

Thank you so much "A" for your help. The bunny community is so very thankful.

"I got the call about these hungry babies and panicked. I did not know anything about raising babies!
There were 7 three week old babies and 4 two weeks old, all with the same Momma who had just died! "A" not only took-in the little ones that very late night, but she also provided milk that the three week old babies could lap from a bowl! In other words, she helped the original owners, me, and the babies!! Please donate to the animal rehabbers in your area! Eileen"

"A," you are wonderful! Have the babies finally moved on to new homes, or are they still with you?
