Dr. Seuss Tree
These trees were all over our resort. The flowers remind me of something from a Dr. Seuss book. I thought of Laura and Jane often as the hedges were hibiscus and chaffalera (sp?) and there were many unusual plants.
Here is the view from our pati
This little birdie had breakfast with me one morning. He was quite bold and very vocal.

Gosh Michelle - I don't have any idea about the flowers or the bird - very exotic looking!
It looks like a beautiful place - must have been nice to get away and feel the tropical breezes for a while.
OT, but I'm wondering how Chandler is doing? We give Buddy the supplements, but still he's stiff getting up. I've been thinking of trying out a heated bed for him - wonder if you've thought of that or have any experience?
Hello?????
You still on vacation?
Laura - thanks for asking. The old grump is okay, has good days and bad. I thought about the heated bed but he gets too warm just with me under the covers, and his bed is right by the heat vent so I don't know that it would be worth it. Since I am home most of the day he migrates from couch to couch following me around. Doubt he would stay put long enough for the heated be to be worth it.
It does hurt to see him age though.
